decades of experience. Originally from Iran, he has made a significant impact by blending
Iranian folk music with modern genres such as electronic dance music (EDM) and
contemporary classical music. His ability to fuse traditional and experimental elements has
been showcased in acclaimed projects worldwide.
Rouzbeh’s musical foundation was built at the Art University of Tehran, where he earned a
degree in Global Music Playing. Early in his career, he performed with the Iranian Orchestra
for New Music and the National Youth Orchestra, establishing his expertise as a clarinettist
and multi-instrumentalist. His deep connection to Iran's folk and ritualistic music remains
central to his work.
In 2010, Rouzbeh co-founded Pallett Band, a pivotal Iranian alternative pop group that
fused Iranian melodies with Western influences. Pallett's albums, such as Mr. Violet,
Tehran, Smile!, and Endless Ending, received critical acclaim and led to international tours
across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
In 2017, Rouzbeh pursued a Master’s degree in Art of Sound at the Royal Conservatory of
The Hague. His thesis, <Metamorphosing Iranian Folk: Integrating Iranian Folk Music
into Electronic Dance Music,= reflected his focus on merging traditional sounds with
modern production techniques. This journey deepened his expertise in sound design and
modern live performance technologies.
In 2022, Rouzbeh co-founded Esfand, an electronic duo dedicated to reinterpreting Iranian
folk music through electronic mediums. Esfand has performed at festivals and venues
across Europe, the UK, and the United States, resonating with a broad audience.
Beyond his work with Pallett and Esfand, Rouzbeh has composed for films, theatre, and

various artists. His ability to navigate both experimental and mainstream music production
has earned him recognition across multiple fields.
Rouzbeh continues to research new technologies, also produce, and compose music and
sound, all while maintaining a strong connection to his cultural roots. His work offers
